SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICY:
Martin’s Flag uses UPS, USPS and Spee-Dee as their preferred carriers. If you select UPS at checkout, we may still send your products via spee-dee or USPS. We do this only to get you your items in a timely matter and if it makes sense in order to do so. Spee-Dee is the option we use for shipments that they deliver to. We don’t have this option available during check out due to the lack of software availability of spee-dee to link up with our shopping cart. Spee-Dee delivers faster than UPS or USPS which is the reason why we would use them. All UPS, USPS and Spee-Dee options come with $100 worth of insurance should something happen to your package during shipment or it doesn’t make it to your destination. You can choose to purchase additional insurance on your goods by giving us a call at 800-992-3524. Martin’s Flag shall not be responsible for damaged or lost items.
All items that are in stock are typically shipped the same day if ordered before 1:00 Central Time. The deadline for orders that are in stock and shipping via next day, 2 day or 3 day select is 2:00 Central Time.
Shipping costs are calculated at check out by our shopping cart, based on weight and number of packages required to ship your order. If your item is not in stock, typical delivery time frame is 7-10 business days. If your item is time sensitive, we suggest you give us a call at 800-992-3524 to insure your product is in stock.
We ship to all 50 states as well as Canada. We do not ship internationally.
Shipping of Large or Oversized items:
Large items such as flagpoles are shipped via motor freight. You can buy these poles online and we can call you with a shipping quote. If the quote is too high, we can refund you the cost of the flagpole. We do not know the prices of motor freight shipping as they fluctuate and we need to obtain a price quote for each order. Please give us a call and we will be more than happy to provide you with a freight quote.
Damages, Shortages and Errors:
We pride ourselves on our accuracy in shipping, but from time to time there are mistakes made. If you are shipped items that are incorrect, please give us a call and we will get the problem fixed. We will arrange pick up of the incorrect items and send you out the correct items. This offer is good for 7 days after receiving your shipment so please inspect goods upon delivery to insure the correct items were shipped
Buyer agrees to open and inspect items immediately upon delivery. All returns must be authorized in advance by Seller within 72 hours of receipt of goods by Buyer. Returns will not be accepted beyond 30 days after date of delivery. Buyer must pre-pay all freight on authorized returned goods. Freight claims resulting from return shipment are the responsibility of Buyer. Custom, non-stock, flagpoles and special order items are not returnable. A 20% restocking fee may be charged against any refund due at the discretion of the seller.
In the case that one or more of the buyers goods are backordered, the seller will hold all goods until all items are available and ship the order complete. We do this to keep the cost of shipping down for the buyer. If the goods you are ordering are time sensitive, please make sure to let Martin’s Flag know so we may plan appropriately and try to get you your goods when you need them. Seller can ship partial orders, but buyer is responsible for addtional shipping costs. Every effort is made by the seller to ship goods in a timely fashion, but seller is not responsible for orders that arrive past an expected delivery date as this is often times out of our control.
Delivery of the goods by Seller to the carrier at the point of origin shall constitute delivery of the goods to Buyer and thereafter the shipment of the goods shall be at Buyer’s risk. Shipping Weights, Prices and Specifications:
Weights will vary according to size and/or dimension of shipping carton and/or packaging materials used. Weights and dimensions are used for determining approximate freight charges. Seller is not responsible for any difference in calculated freight charges versus actual freight charges. All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice.
All costs of freight, transportation or mailing, shall be paid by Buyer. Martin’s Flag may from time to time offer free shipping. When free shipping is offered, Martin’s Flag reserves the right to choose the carrier in which the goods are delivered.
Shipments are made by UPS, USPS and Spee-Dee from our warehouse in West Des Moines, IA. Days are business days and do not include holidays and weekends. Martin’s Flag, UPS, USPS and Spee-Dee is not responsible for any delays in service beyond its control, including, but not limited to the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; insufficient information provided by a customer; the application of security regulations imposed by the government, or otherwise applicable to the shipment; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks and natural disasters
